A digital blood donation platform established to ensure easy, fast, and effective blood services for the people of Nilphamari district. This platform has been founded and is being operated through the personal initiative, dedicated efforts, and direct guidance of the Deputy Commissioner of Nilphamari, Mr. Mohammad Nairuzzaman.
Under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner of Nilphamari, a team from the District Administration is regularly working to make this initiative successful. In this program, funded by the District Council, Nilphamari, the Civil Surgeon's Office, Nilphamari is providing technical assistance in blood group determination and training of volunteers. Alongside, Bangladesh Scouts, Nilphamari district unit, and other volunteers are working as members to take this noble initiative forward.
Blood donation is a noble act, not only does it help save lives, but donating blood regularly can also contribute positively to the health of the donor. However, matching donors and recipients at the right time remains a major challenge. Additionally, many people in our society are unaware of their blood group, which causes complications in emergencies.
To overcome these barriers, this platform was created as an innovative initiative by the Deputy Commissioner of Nilphamari. It bridges the gap between donors and recipients and raises awareness about blood donation.
